Our Client is a leading vertical garment manufacturing company in Egypt, specializing in the circular knitting and finishing of fine gauge polyester and cotton blends, including elastane. As part of their growth plan, we are seeking a Technical Dyehouse Manager, for their Cairo -Egypt Plant, with extensive experience in fabric development to lead their technical team.


Position Overview

The Technical Dyehouse Manager will oversee the establishment and optimization of systems and recipes for the production of diverse polyester fabrics. This role is crucial in ensuring operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and minimal waste. The manager will be responsible for streamlining

processes, reducing reprocessing and rejects, and maintaining high standards of quality and performance in the dye house operations


What we are looking for:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (textile & chemical & industrial )

Tertiary education in textiles.

Minimum 8-10 years of proven experience in a similar role, experience working with fine polyester fibers (including elastane) and cotton blends in fabric development.

Strong understanding of the finishing process and the ability to analyze and conduct fabric studies.

Proven track record in developing innovative fabric solutions

Mechanical understanding of dyeing machinery

Preferably someone with at least 5 years of experience leading a technical team.

Expertise in chemicals and dyes

Strong project management skills with a focus on delivering projects on time and within budget


Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership: Direct and oversee a team responsible for analyzing fibers, yarns, and fabric structures.

Innovation & Development: Led the team in creating and developing new fabric structures and processes,

Market Analysis: Continuously monitor the market for new opportunities in technical textiles, fashion, and sportswear to drive innovation.

Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with knitting, dyehouse, dye lab, finishing, and testing managers to ensure seamless integration of new processes and fabric developments.


Sales Support: Provide technical expertise to sales teams, offering motivation and key information on the benefits of new fabric developments.

Customer Presentations: Deliver presentations to clients showcasing new fabrics and developments.

Production Consistency: Ensure that newly developed fabrics can be consistently produced at scale with a high level of quality.

Employee Development: Maintain and improve departmental systems, while also developing and training team members to support continuous improvement.
