Job Description:
The Supply Chain Manager will play a pivotal role in optimizing and managing our supply chain operations within the automotive sector. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of supply chain dynamics, coupled with a proven track record of success in the automotive industry.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of the supply chain operations.
Design and optimization of information and material flow across the entire supply chain.
Oversee all aspects of the supply chain, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution.
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and logistics partners to ensure seamless coordination and execution of supply chain activities.
Analyze market trends, demand forecasts, and inventory levels to proactively identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.
Lead cross-functional teams to drive process improvements, cost reductions, and operational excellence initiatives.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and best practices.
Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, negotiate contracts, and establish strategic partnerships to enhance supply chain resilience and agility.
Implement robust risk management strategies to mitigate supply chain disruptions and ensure business continuity.
Drive innovation and digitalization initiatives to enhance supply chain visibility, efficiency, and responsiveness.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, preferably in the automotive sector.
Strong leadership abilities with a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and driving organizational change.
In-depth knowledge of supply chain principles, processes, and best practices.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken and conversational in German language.
Good knowledge in SAP R/3, Microsoft Office, and Business Warehouse.
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
