Logistics Coordinator – Job Opportunity in Germany
We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator on behalf of our client, a leading company in the energy and telecommunication sector, to oversee and manage logistics operations in Germany. The successful candidate will have a solid background in logistics, business administration, or engineering with a logistics focus and will demonstrate a strong capability to streamline transportation and storage processes efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary interface between production, warehouse/distribution centers, transport, and construction sites to ensure the timely delivery of products.
Plan and monitor transport and delivery tasks to guarantee on-time execution.
Coordinate storage and delivery activities by managing the warehouse calendar and tracking delivery schedules.
Optimize transport flows, focusing on routes and load management.
Ensure compliance with transport permits and required documentation, while supporting company transport operations when necessary.
Manage the return of empty cable drums in collaboration with plant logistics teams.
Develop and implement optimized planning and tracking concepts.
Provide key logistics metrics and insights to internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience:
A degree in business administration or engineering with a specialization in logistics, complemented by several years of professional experience and market expertise.
Fluency in German and English (C1 level or higher) is mandatory.
A customer-oriented approach with excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
The ability to work proactively and flexibly with strong economic acumen.
Proven stress management, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.
Persistence, assertiveness, and a strong sense of accountability.
