We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Plant Manager to oversee our production plant operations. The successful candidate will manage all aspects of the plant to meet budget commitments, focusing on gross margin and inventory levels. 

The work location is İzmit.


Key Responsibilities:

Establish and achieve targets for the plant.

Set targets for the plant to meet budget commitments, manage resources, and take actions aligned with the strateg

Ensure employee safety, customer satisfaction (quality and on-time deliveries), and workforce empowerment.

Manage P&L to drive necessary actions with the plant management team.

Adapt plant resources and costs to volume variations and strategic plans.

Prepare for new program launches and contribute to business plan convergence.

Develop talent and prepare future managers.

Respect environmental standards and secure internal plant controls.

Promote and ensure adherence to the code of ethics and management.

Maintain continuous customer satisfaction through quality and timely deliveries.

Fulfill legal responsibilities, interface with local authorities, and manage labor issues.

Manage labor relations, social climate, and employee satisfaction.

Manage variable margin (direct labor efficiency, productivity, material cost consumption, scrap and rework reduction, freight costs).

Manage fixed costs (indirect labor, manufacturing costs, machine amortization).

Utilize Capex for continuous improvement and program optimization.

Oversee inventories, ensuring appropriate information systems and physical flow.

Optimize plant layout for efficient use of equipment and capacity.

Integrate digital transformation into plant processes, identify opportunities, create new competencies, and implement pragmatic solutions.

Improve supplier performance and contribute to material cost reduction.

Support Sales Department in customer claims negotiation

Participate in strategic planning to confirm plant mid-term vision and future.

Act within the program team from acquisition to ensure production conditions and program profitability.

Manage plant team resources effectively, anticipating staffing needs and monitoring succession plans.

Ensure continuous individual performance and development through regular feedback, coaching, and training.


Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field, master’s degree is a plus. 

Minimum of 8 years of experience in plant management within the automotive industry

Proven track record in managing P&L, improving operational efficiency, and leading teams.

Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement methodologies, and digital transformation.

Strong budgeting and financial management skills, problem- solving skills, excellent leadership, and communication abilities

English proficiency being mandatory.
